mental clarity

mental clarity is a state of mind.

it is when you have a clear mindset, whilst being fully engaged and active.

you can find the article going into detail about mental clarity here, i highly recommend reading it.

– 15 strategies are included to help you achieve mental clarity,

– the benefits of this state of mind,

– some causes that may be causing your lack of this mindset.

achieving mental clarity can help you maintain a healthy and happy mentality.

with this mentality, it can help you enhance your quality of life.

expressing your thoughts

your thoughts are some of the most, if not the most, powerful things in life.

if you want to achieve something, please have full faith in what you want, what you desire and what you want to change.

but remember to not blindly believe all of your thoughts, as sometimes they can be harmful or misleading.

this is because your thoughts are based on your interpretation of the world you live in.

our interpretations form from our experiences, emotions and depths of consciousness we have

our personal learning and perception in life, cultural backgrounds, our beliefs, opinions, values and even our biases.

this is precisely why you should not believe all of your thoughts, as they are merely just a story for you to make sense of the world.

with that being said – pause, express them, question them and challenge them (if they’re negative or harmful thoughts).

if they are positive and uplifting thoughts, accept them.

by ‘challenging them’ you are creating a more realistic, healthy and balanced way of thinking.

when a negative thought arises, examine it. look at the evidence on both sides, not just your beliefs and biases.

to practise this, i highly recommend journaling.

with journaling it makes the ‘express them’ part alot easier too.

it allows you to view your thoughts logically and not just emotionally.

when you see your thoughts, it is easier to process, understand, and work through them.

this creates a more objective way of viewing your thoughts, feeling, emotions, problems and your experiences.

if you want to learn how to begin to journal and the benefits it has, i have an in-depth article you can read here.

positive affirmations in your self talk can help with these negative / put down thoughts, so lets get into affirmations.

affirmations

*there is something i need to be clear on saying*

when i was young and full of hope, i thought, if i said my affirmations, my life would flip around and everything i wished for would be manifested.

but that wasn’t the case.

-> in order for affirmations to come into your physical world, you need to truly believe what you’re saying.

you need to believe with everything in you and have complete faith that it is true, and is forming in your life as we speak.

you need to have belief that, once you say these affirmations, they’re working to come true.

try to not let thoughts consume your brain during the day after your affirmations.

this can accidentally invite negative thoughts to take power to try and counteract the manifestation that is currently happening.

if you have full faith in your words and believe that what you’re saying has already happened, you will receive results.

as for why it is important with the affirmations you pick to say.

they must resonate deeply with you and not be along the lines or half-half of your desire.

i believe most people don’t have trust in affirmations or manifestation, after they try it for the first time, usually because:

they are sceptical of it, yet they try it anyway

(usually because they hear the remarkable stories of other peoples success with it),

so they say it a few times per day, for a few weeks, and maybe they even think they believe what they’re saying.

but deeeeeep down they don’t truly feel or believe it.

and the scepticism they had at the beginning is counteracting the wonders of the universe.

how do affirmations work

you need to be in a place where you can quieten your mind.

say your affirmations loud and proud with assertiveness and full belief.

(you can write them or say them in your head as well! because remember, your thoughts are who you are).

when you’re saying them, feel what you would feel and how you would feel it, as if you had already achieved your desire.

try and incorporate imagery into your mind whilst saying your affirmations.

i wholeheartedly believe imagination and visualisation is the most powerful element when saying affirmations.

it is a way of your brains eye picturing exactly what it looks like, and how you will be in the future when you have reached your desire.

now, just repeat it.

repeat all of these things over and over.

-> consistency is key, the more you say them, the more your brain will believe you.

-> the more your brain believes you, the more your heart and soul believe you

-> and when your heart, soul and mind believes

= anything can happen.

how do affirmations work?
quieten your mind,
speak with assertiveness,
have full belief in your words,
feel your end desire,
visualise your outcome,
have faith you already have it,
your heart, mind and soul must believe your words,
the universe will create.

manifestation

the keys to unlocking the manifestation held in affirmations.

(well the keys i found from my personal experience);

truly believing you already have it.

this is why you say your affirmations in the present tense.

whilst saying your affirmations, close your eyes and envision your end desires of what you’re saying.

i found there are certain times where your mind believes your affirmations and visualisation more dominantly.

these times for me, were first thing as i woke up, and the last thing before i fell asleep.

(p.s – i still use this technique to this day ^)

i highly, highly, highlyyyyy, recommend you doing it too!

because this is where i went wrong when i was younger,

i used to say my affirmations in the present tense, go through all the emotions of believing them and then…

nothing.

this was because i didn’t let go of all the negative emotions, doubt, self criticism and fear.

these emotions are far more powerful than you just telling yourself you believe and have faith in something.

you need to actually, truly believe it.

this is due to your subconscious creating whatever is believes is most powerful

and in this sense, it was the doubt that it wouldn’t work, the fear that i’m saying them for no reason, ect.

but the thing about the body is, sometimes we aren’t even aware we have this doubt, fears or negativity.

like it needs to be any more difficult for us!!

it can be buried so deeply inside our bodies due to things like wounds, trauma, negative self talk, lack of self belief, ect.

  • do you have trust issues within yourself or others after experiencing trauma? read this article that may help you heal.
  • if you experience triggers and are unsure of how to help manage them, read this article to help you understand them.

for affirmations to work, you need to put in the effort, time and hard work to heal yourself before the magic of them can come into your world,

whilst healing and learning to be aware of your emotions so you can let go of negative ones, i still highly recommend you say affirmations.

this way you’re getting yourself into the habit of saying affirmations.

i believe that is one of the most powerful habits you can form (along with gratitude).

affirmations can actually significantly change your life and how you view yourself.

okay so here are the 29 affirmations to boost your mental clarity.

please choose the ones that stick out to you and resonate the most with you and your personal goals

feel free to twinge them to fit your desires aswell!

i encourage you to change them, so you have the best chance of believing what you’re saying.

there is no limit on the amount of affirmations you can say, and how many times to repeat them.

however, i recommend saying your affirmations twice a day, sometimes even 3 to break up the morning, afternoon and evening.

i recommend you either write them, say them in your head or aloud for around 5 minutes each time.

the amount of affirmations you choose to say daily doesn’t really matter, just make sure you aren’t rushing them with too many.

i personally do 3-5 affirmations, as i found this is the perfect amount for me to really tune int their intention and meaning, so i can visualise them.

now for how long to continue saying them is whenever you feel they have came into your reality.

it can be a month, it can be 2 months, or it can be a week, even a day.

it all depends on how much you believe what you’re saying and how realistically you can already visualise and feel your desired outcome.

remember, with belief, faith and confidence – clarity will follow.

my journey

some ways affirmations have transformed my life in my journey

i have less negative self-talk, and due to this, i now have self-belief and confidence in my abilities and visions in life.

i found a significant amount of reduced defensiveness, stress and anxiety in the more challenging situations i faced.

if i told myself 2 years ago that i now wake up with the biggest smile on my face every, single, morning. i’d laugh.

but every morning i am so grateful for literally everything in my life and in the hidden beauties of life itself

– sometimes we need to pay abit more attention to the smaller things in life

my relationships have never been stronger, with my friends, family and team mates, but also with myself.

i talk so kindly to myself now, without even realising at times! i am just so proud of my mindset and values in life.

it helped me be able to heal my anxious attachment style in relationships.

but it also helped me heal my trust issues i unconsciously formed after i went through a traumatic experience.

honestly i could keep on going, but i don’t want to bore you.

(but, if you do want to know all my benefits from my journey, please let me know and i’ll create an article about them)

your journey

if you want to share your experience or journey, please please pleaseee do!!!

it makes my heart full hearing your achievements and unique journeys.
