the 1% : stepping out of my comfort zone powerful poem

“do it, just do it already”,

i want to so badly.

instead i am sitting,

watching others do it gladly.

“come on, you can do it”,

my voice becomes kinder.

encouraging to take the leap,

but failure flashes as a reminder.

everything in me wants to,

but there’s 1% that holds me back.

repeat, “mind over matter”,

i’m getting on the right track.

burying 1% is draining,

it feels like it’s all.

but that’s where the zone tricks you,

it builds up a wall.

a wall so tall you can’t peep over,

you wish to see? you must knock it down.

uncertainty seems to scare most,

don’t be like those who are okay to drown.

instead hold belief.

keep learning and don’t give up.

sooner or later, you will find,

you have enough to fill your cup.

“i did it. i just did it!!”,

could be what you hear.

so push yourself a little further,

and your dreams could be near.

it’s okay to do it scared.

it’s okay to want to cry.

some times we don’t succeed,

atleast you gave it a try.

but don’t stop just there,

give it another go.

learn from mistakes and believe in yourself,

success might be closer than you know.
